Location and leisure
Horb am Neckar is a beautiful town of 25.300 inhabitants, located on the banks of the river Neckar and surrounded by green hills. Horb is about 900 years old, you can feel its long history when exploring town center. With its church overlooking the town, its charming half-timbered houses, old towers, and narrow alleys Horb offers many picturesque sights. There are many hiking opportunities in the Black Forest.
Project hosted by
The local municipality is planning to make improvements to local kindergartens and schools in the surroundings of this village. The group of construction workers needs help because they have a lot of important work to do for the social projects in the summer, but they don't have enough volunteers to help them. That's why we hold a work camp there every year. It's a great way to learn by doing, using craft tools, and seeing the children using the spaces you will renovate or construct.
