Volunteers will contribute to the creation, maintenance and development of the permaculture garden. Activities will include preparing the soil, planting vegetables and herbs, watering, mulching, weeding and caring for existing crops. The group will also help to improve the gardens by building or repairing small structures, paths or beds, and organizing the area for long-term use. Throughout the project, participants will learn basic permaculture principles and sustainable gardening techniques, sharing knowledge across generations in a hands-on and collaborative environment.
Accomodation and food
You will be accommodated in non-mixed, collective tents (6 to 8 people per tent) with floors and beds, at the Créneau campsite. Wi-Fi is not available on site. You and the other participants will prepare food in groups in the château kitchen with the support of the kitchen supervisors. Meals are mostly vegetarian, with meat and/or fish served twice a week.
Location and leisure
Montcombroux-les-Mines, 45 km from Moulins.
Leisure activities: Afternoon and weekend activities will be organized collectively with the whole group. The region offers plenty of space for walking, swimming, celebrations and exploration!
Project hosted by
Pote’Agé is an intergenerational project rooted in nature, sharing and transmission. Set in our permaculture garden, this workcamp brings together young and older generations to work the soil, grow food and reconnect with what is essential. Through gardening, learning and sharing, participants will explore how caring for the land also means nurturing relationships, roots and the future. From planting vegetables to improving garden spaces, this project is an invitation to grow together — cultivating both the garden and those who tend it.
Directions to meeting point
In front of the Moulins train station (03000) at 5pm, on July 05, 2026.
