Providing international exchange programs for local children. (Ex. Playing and singing in English, reeding books, making your country's foods, for local children etc.).
Accomodation and food
Volunteers will stay in local coordinator's house(homestay). Meals will be cooked by volunteers by turns. Volunteers need to bring own sleeping bag (and mattress if you want).
Location and leisure
Located in the southeastern part of Saitama Prefecture. Access to the city center is 30 minutes to Ikebukuro in Tokyo. It is also 15 minutes to Kawagoe which is famous for sightseeing. Other activities - Summer festivals, hot spring, cultural learning about Japanese, and so on. Volunteers can also enjoy cooking Japanese food with local people.

Organize with the "Shiki International Exchange Association". Last time was held in 2019. 2025, they restart this program. "Shiki International Exchange Association" is an organisation in Shiki City, Saitama Prefecture, which aims to promote international exchange between foreigners and Japanese people. It connects foreigners who want to learn Japanese culture and language, and people who want to talk and socialise with foreigners. International workcamps are organised to provide international exchange programmes for children during their summer holidays. In the last edition, 10 children's programmes were held over a two weeks period.

Study theme - Sharing situation about Kids in your country Participation fee - 9,000 JPY (54 EUR by the rate on 2024 Nov. 2nd) of "NICE Volunteers" fee need to be paid in advance either by Card or PayPal. This is used for the project preparation/ coordination such as the transportation of the camp leaders while the meals and the accommodation are provided by the local host by free. Other - none
