-Develop and conduct a session for the children to draw, paint, create gifts and crafts, or express themselves artistically. -Organize the activities of origami, collage work, music, dance, etc.
Accomodation and food
The volunteers will stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living facilities are simple and basic. Male and female volunteers will share the same living area with separate rooms. The volunteers sleep on single beds/mattresses. Please bring your sleeping bag.
Location and leisure
Jitpurphedi community is located in Tarakeshwor Municipality, on the outskirts of Kathmandu District. It is about 10-15 km from the main ring road to Balaju, Kathmandu, surrounded by hills, fields, and woods.

Art is a form of expression that benefits children in many ways. It enhances creativity, boosts self-confidence, improves fine motor skills, and fosters emotional and cognitive development. This project encourages children to explore their creativity through various art forms, including painting, sculpting, and dance. Volunteers can teach their own art skills while learning from Nepalese artistic traditions. This is a unique opportunity to make a creative impact on the lives of Nepalese children
Directions to meeting point
A VIN staff member will pick up volunteers from the airport. Please send your flight details in advance so we can provide a name card with the VIN logo. If you d like to explore earlier, you can take a pre-paid taxi or VIN can assist you. You can arrive at the VIN office on your first day.

The participation fee 270 Euros (30 Euro for transportation) is to be paid on your arrivals at VIN Office.
