Description: The Archeopark “Malagne” in Rochefort is an interpretation center of the Gallo-Roman rural civilization and a museum. Open since 1996, the Archeopark showcases a Gallo-Roman villa, built nearly 2000 years ago, and it is formed by an ancient farm with its buildings and grounds. Several festive weekends punctuate the season, including a Gallo-Roman festival on the 12th and 13th July.
Type of Work: Volunteers will participate with the team in the preparation and the arrangement of a Gallo-Roman festival to make the public discover the Gallo-Roman expertise and crafts. The work consists essentially in the installation and dismantling of the infrastructures for the event (arbors, bar, barbecue, benches and tables). In relation to the festival, volunteers will also work on the maintenance of the site and its gardens (weeding, mowing, hedge trimming, haymaking). During the week, the site hosts summer camps for children, and the volunteers will be able to coordinate their activities too, together with the entertainers. During the weekend of the festival, volunteers will help the team (cooking, bar, etc.) while also being able to enjoy the different workshops. In case of bad weather, ind
