Everyday three meals cooked and served to the homeless community in the centre. The volunteer expected to help the main volunteers to cook and clean the centre. There will be some community activity will be conducted at evening such as supply stringe to the hard core drug abusers to avoid the sharing (control spread of HIV), mass community feeding, sorting things for free market and some related programmes.
Accomodation and food
Volunteers will stay in the school. Meal will be provided. Sleeping bag is necessary (mat is also recommended since the floor is hard). Water is very valuable, so the volunteers should be aware of not wasting it when washing the clothes and taking a bath.
Location and leisure
Location: The community is located in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur. It is located in the city, so you can sometimes enjoy café, night market, etc. in the evening (but not till too late!). Leisure: Visitation around Kuala Lumpur city, and the cultural heritage of Malaysia, cultural exchange events

This project is actively working for SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities), newly organized together with Malaysian Organization of Volunteer Exchange (MOVE) in this place. MOVE is a workcamp NGO founded in 2006. This project was established by single lady by the name Nor Akmar Kaseh also known as kak Akmar. She was went through some tough time as a homeless before. She used feel hunger and leading an unhealthy life. Somehow her life changed and she decided to help the homeless community and transform their life. From providing one meal for homeless now she established to a community centre to help this poor community.

Study theme: Situation of homeless people in each country. Local SDGs (2030 goals) of HFH Participation fee: 1,050 MYR (225 EUR by the rate on 2025 Feb. 16th) for 14 days and 800 MYR (172 EUR) for 9 days to be paid on your arrivals. 10% less for repeaters of MOVE workcamps or those from less expensive countries.
