Type of Work

Manual work: Establishing and maintenance of fences and paths, transport of material, painting, gardening, weeding and preparing of food.

Accommodation

Volunteers will arrange their own breakfast and dinner together. The volunteers will share the cooking and cleaning. Warm meals (lunch) will be provided in the afternoons in the big hall, where the entire village will gather and share the meal. Vegetarian food will be available. The volunteers will sleep in summer cabins or houses. Please bring a sleeping bag.

English language.

Special needs: The landscape around Jøssåsen is hilly and not suitable for wheelchair use.

Approximate Location: Hommelvik, 40 km from the town Trondheim. During the stay, the volunteers will have the opportunity to join at least two daytrips. Around Jøssåsen, there are many opportunities for hiking, swimming, rowing, and even fishing.
