You'll be taking part in the festivities with the village's dynamic team of volunteers! You'll learn and dance several choreographies for the Festival. You'll make your own costumes for the Festival on 15 August and help set up the site.
Accomodation and food
You will be accommodated in the local village hall and have access to the toilets in the gymnasium next door. Trekking foam mattresses or camp beds will be provided. Remember to bring your own duvet and pillow. You will have access to a kitchen where you will prepare menus and meals together, taking into account the season, everyone's needs and the pleasure of sharing together. Don't forget to bring your own gourmet recipes!
Location and leisure
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to take part in local festivities and cultural events typical of this area, to discover the region and to organise your programme of activities with the other volunteers and the leaders.
Project hosted by
Coulaures is hosting an international work camp to prepare and run its dance and music festival, which attracts over a thousand visitors on the 15 August. This year, the festival will take you to the islands, where the rhythms and melodies of the world's oceans will take centre stage. Come and join in the fun with the village's dynamic team of volunteers! Creativity is the order of the day, with the setting up of equipment, the creation of group choreographies and even the making of your own costumes.
You'll discover the welcoming nature of the local people, as well as the charm of the countryside and heritage, as you work with the other volunteers and the organisers to organise your programme of activities.
Directions to meeting point
The meeting point is Thiviers station. You need to arrive on the 28/07 between 2pm and 6pm. . If you arrive the day before, you will need to arrange your own accommodation.
Departure is on the last day between 9am and 12pm maximum.
