Work:

Volunteers will work as English teachers, preparing lessons or English Camp with
the teacher at the school.
Creative teaching English – Non-formal education tools can be used for creative
teaching; volunteer is not required teaching certificate but required to be creative.
Aims of creative teaching is giving the chance for students in the school and local
community to have an opportunity to communicate with different languages and
learn different cultures.
Volunteer would use Non-formal education tools to make activities based on
Intercultural and language such as the games, songs, storytelling, and dancing.
Also, it should focus on communication; listening and speaking.
In addition volunteer can create theirs national club, for example, German club,
Korean club to exchange with students in Language and culture.

Accomodation and food

At School house 2 Volunteers per room with shared bathroom. There are common
area and kitchen
Lunch will be provided at the school. Volunteer will cook breakfast and supper with
host family.
Internet wifi is available at the school.

Project hosted by

Phaya lo Witthayakhom school located in the northern Thailand connected to Laos
border. The public school in the rural area caters to 550 students between the ages
of 12 - 18 years old. The 550 students are distributed between grades 7 - 12. There
are 220 students between grade 7 - 9 and 330 students between grades 10 - 12.
School need international volunteers to create the activities for students to improve
English for communication and create intercultural environment in the school.
