Work description
- Planting mangroves, harvesting mangroves seeds, seedling mangroves.
- Sharing environmental education with local people and children
- Conducting school visits and universities for environmental education
- Running a green campaign in the city center, managing the mangrove fruits to be drinks or foods, and promoting it.
- Exchange culture between local people and volunteers
- Learning about Mangroves
- Learning how to make mangrove syrups

Good physical endurance working under the sun
Provisions
- Accommodation and food
House of local people, located near the mangrove park.
Shared living room with other participants.
A sleeping bag is needed, mosquito lotion should be applied before you sleep.
No WiFi
No fridge, Self-cooking by the volunteers with Indonesian ingredients

Pekalongan is a cultural city in Indonesia. As a central of the Batik industry, Pekalongan has a lot of Batik factories both traditional and modern industry.
Fees
Note: This is the amount you will pay upon arrival. It is separate from the sending fee.
Fees used for
· Project Material during Workcamp
· Accommodation during Workcamp
· Transportation from MEETING POINT to PROJECT SITE and VICE VERSA (NOT from your international arrival location to the meeting point. GREAT will provide TRANSPORTATION/pick up ONLY from MEETING POINT to PROJECT SITE and VICE VERSA at the scheduled time by our campleaders)
· Transportation during Workcamp
· Meals 3x per day during workcamp (EXCLUDE 1 day during Free Day/Excursion)
· GREAT T-Shirt
· Hospitality for Local Partner/People
· Management fee for GREAT (for the work camp preparation, project sustainability & development, Camp Leaders’ Transportation and Communication, Local Members Training and Workshop, Staff Salary)
