This project is actively working for SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and is newly organized together with Tokai Tsubame Learning Association, a local NPO providing free learning support and community meals for children. Together with local people who run these activities, the project aims to support learning opportunities and create safe and welcoming spaces for children facing various challenges, such as those from international backgrounds, with develpmental disabilitites, from less-affluent background, or facing difficult family cirsumstances. Through interactions with volunteers from Japan and abroad, the project aims to give children opportunities to experience different cultures and values, develop an interest in the wider world, and broaden their future possibilities. Volunteers will also learn about everyday life in Japan and local efforts to support children through community activities and homestays, while deepening mutual understanding.
