Location and leisure
Le Créneau is located in Montcombroux-Vieux-Bourg in the Allier department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in the center of France. The site includes a main house, the two small towers, a farmyard, a vegetable garden, some othsome other workshops and it is surrounded by the forest. It‘s a very isolated place, situated 6 km from the “bigger“ village with shops. As a volunteer you will share a house with other volunteers! It is of high importance to commit into daily life, as in a big house-share, because the house will look like its inhabitants, it's your home sweet home for a few months!
Project hosted by
Le Créneau is a 19th century castle located in a small rural village in the middle of France. Hosting youth from all around the world, learning how to understand and to learn from our differences. To plan and act together to protect the environment. To create a positive impact on the surrounding environment and the people living there or those who are simply passing by. Here lie our goals for this future village, which each year, is built thanks to youths who come and contribute, with solidarity as their driving force.
