Assist Health and Emergency services at the RHU

RHU is located in the nature-rich town of Tuburan in the northwest part of Cebu.

The Tuburan Rural Health Unit (RHU) in Tuburan, Cebu, aims to provide accessible, quality healthcare services to the local community, particularly in rural and underserved areas. Its mission is to promote health, prevent diseases, and improve overall well-being through a range of services, including maternal and child health care, immunization, emergency care, sanitation programs, and health education. The RHU also focuses on addressing public health issues such as malnutrition, vector-borne diseases, and communicable diseases, ensuring that residents have access to essential health services close to their homes. By strengthening health infrastructure, empowering local health workers, and promoting community involvement, the Tuburan RHU strives to create a healthier and more resilient population.

Directions to meeting point

irections to GIED Office Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service (Approx. 30-45 minutes): Upon exiting the airport, proceed to the taxi or ride-hailing service area. Inform the driver to take you to Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City. Depending on traffic, the driver will usually take either the Marcelo Fernan Bridge or the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. The GIED office is located near Robinsons Fuente, beside the Shell Gas Station, and across the YMCA. By Public Transport (Approx. 1-1.5 hours): From the airport, board a jeepney or MyBus heading to SM City Cebu. At SM City Cebu, transfer to a jeepney going to Fuente Osmeña or Osmeña Blvd. Ask the driver to drop you near the Causing Feria Building, located beside the Shell Gas Station and across the YMCA, close to Robinsons Fuente.

Additional comments

The LTV 6-month program cost is Euro 2,350 and the LTV 12 months cost is Euro 3,800. The fee also covers the special volunteer visa (47a2) processing services. We charge program fees for extensions per month. We charge Euro 400 per month if below 10 months and 10 months up to 12 months, the total fee will be that of a 1-year program which Euro 3,800 is. Split fee is at Euro 450.
