Our association is a living space that welcomes people from all walks of life every year. Committed to integrating sustainable practices, this year we are offering a project centered around a reclaimed wood workshop. Together with your group, you will create garden and vegetable patch structures, about 4 hours each morning. At the same time, various informal education workshops will be offered, focusing on permaculture, herbal tea preparation, upcycling, basket weaving, and other traditional skills. You will also take turns participating in daily life tasks: cooking, gardening, and maintaining the shared spaces.
Accomodation and food
You will be housed in the park of our association, where we will set up large communal tents (8 to 16 people). You will sleep in a bunk beds, in a non-mixed space. Bring a good sleeping bag and your pillow ! You will have access to the showers and toilets in the house. There are also dry toilets outside. The venue is equipped with a professional kitchen. Accompanied by the leaders, your group will take turns preparing meals each day. At Beaumotte, we eat meat twice a week. Wi-Fi access is limited and only available in certain rooms of the house. There is no washing machine, so bring enough clothes for 15 days or hand-washing detergent !
Location and leisure
Location: Centre de Beaumotte Association, Le Saussoir, 70190 Beaumotte-Aubertans. A village in Haute-Saône, 30 minutes from Besançon and Vesoul.
Leisure : Afternoons and weekends will be dedicated to leisure activities. You will organize these with the leaders and may also propose your own activities. Some activities are a must: a visit to Besançon, team sports, and all kinds of fun activities.
