Work:

・Assist in teaching academic and or non-academic lessons
・Volunteers are expected to assist in teaching, tutorial, and capacity building programs of the school.
・Assist and or organize clubs in music, arts, sports, and foreign language
・Assist with administrative and clerical work in the school
・Support development of campaigns and promotions materials, Support online events and activities as well as promotions

Accomodation and food

Living with the host project (expect to have a shared room with other volunteers/staff members)

Location and leisure

Livingstone Academy is a peaceful, nature-rich area located in the northern part of Cebu City, about 30 minutes by car. It offers a quiet environment away from the city hustle and bustle, with good accessibility.

Leisure Activities:
・Enjoy hiking and nature walks in the surrounding area.
・Experience local farm tours and enjoy regional cuisine.
・It's also close to Cebu City and Mactan Island, where you can explore popular tourist spots and relax.

Directions to meeting point

Directions to GIED Office Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service (Approx. 30-45 minutes): Upon exiting the airport, proceed to the taxi or ride-hailing service area. Inform the driver to take you to Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City. Depending on traffic, the driver will usually take either the Marcelo Fernan Bridge or the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. The GIED office is located near Robinsons Fuente, beside the Shell Gas Station, and across the YMCA. By Public Transport (Approx. 1-1.5 hours): From the airport, board a jeepney or MyBus heading to SM City Cebu. At SM City Cebu, transfer to a jeepney going to Fuente Osmeña or Osmeña Blvd. Ask the driver to drop you near the Causing Feria Building, located beside the Shell Gas Station and across the YMCA, close to Robinsons Fuente.
