Work:

・Support to the organization’s promotion of international
voluntary service programs
・Assist the staff in the daily office work e.g. development of promotional materials print, audio and video presentations, advocacy campaigns online or in schools, communities, institutions, events, etc.
・Coordinator or camp leader for international or local workcamps
・Assist during training/capacity building programs, community visits, and other IVS-related field work
・Organize/ facilitate special online/physical projects and activities
・Look for Grant applications for youth advocacy, social
entrepreneurship and community development

・Tourist Attractions: Magellan's Cross and Basilica del Santo Niño are within a 10-minute drive.
・Culture: Nearby Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral and museums.
・Entertainment: Cinema, cafes, gyms, and other urban amenities are available.

GIED is a non-government organization that primarily aims to promote various meaningful collaborations in building local communities and empowering people to be partners in nation-building through the spirit of volunteerism and cross-cultural interactions.

Directions to meeting point

Directions to GIED Office Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service (Approx. 30-45 minutes): Upon exiting the airport, proceed to the taxi or ride-hailing service area. Inform the driver to take you to Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City. Depending on traffic, the driver will usually take either the Marcelo Fernan Bridge or the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. The GIED office is located near Robinsons Fuente, beside the Shell Gas Station, and across the YMCA. By Public Transport (Approx. 1-1.5 hours): From the airport, board a jeepney or MyBus heading to SM City Cebu. At SM City Cebu, transfer to a jeepney going to Fuente Osmeña or Osmeña Blvd. Ask the driver to drop you near the Causing Feria Building, located beside the Shell Gas Station and across the YMCA, close to Robinsons Fuente.

Additional comments

The LTV 6-month program cost is Euro 2,350 and the LTV 12 months cost is Euro 3,800. The fee also covers the special volunteer visa (47a2) processing services. We charge program fees for extensions per month. We charge Euro 400 per month if below 10 months and 10 months up to 12 months, the total fee will be that of a 1-year program which Euro 3,800 is. Split fee is at Euro 450.
