Work:

・Support to the organization’s promotion of international voluntary service programs
・Assist the staff in the daily office work e.g. development of promotional materials print, audio and video presentations, advocacy campaigns online or in schools, communities, institutions, events, etc.
・ Coordinator or camp leader for international or local workcamps
・Assist during training/capacity building programs, community visits, and other IVS-related field work
・Organize/ facilitate special online/physical projects and activities
・Look for Grants/Donations for social entrepreneurship and community development

Living with a host family (expect to have a shared room with a volunteer)

・Transport: Easy access to key spots and shopping malls in Cebu City.

・Shopping: Close to SM City Cebu and Robinsons Galleria.
・Tourist Attractions: Magellan's Cross and Basilica del Santo Niño are within a 10-minute drive.
・Culture: Nearby Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral and museums.
・Entertainment: Cinema, cafes, gyms, and other urban amenities are available.

Directions to meeting point

Directions to GIED Office Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service (Approx. 30-45 minutes): Upon exiting the airport, proceed to the taxi or ride-hailing service area. Inform the driver to take you to Causing Feria Building, Osmeña Blvd, Cebu City. Depending on traffic, the driver will usually take either the Marcelo Fernan Bridge or the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. The GIED office is located near Robinsons Fuente, beside the Shell Gas Station, and across the YMCA. By Public Transport (Approx. 1-1.5 hours): From the airport, board a jeepney or MyBus heading to SM City Cebu. At SM City Cebu, transfer to a jeepney going to Fuente Osmeña or Osmeña Blvd. Ask the driver to drop you near the Causing Feria Building, located beside the Shell Gas Station and across the YMCA, close to Robinsons Fuente.
