Volunteers will help prepare the children and youth camping site for the summer season. Tasks include:
Repairing or rebuilding playgrounds and sports fields
Maintaining barbecue and campfire areas
Painting and basic cleaning work
Gardening and earthwork
Repairing bicycles
Equipping tents with beds, mattresses, lamps, etc.
Work schedule:
Week 1: Tuesday 14 April to Friday 17 April
Week 2: Monday 20 April to Friday 25 April
Working hours: 9:00–16:00, including lunch break.
Accommodation is on-site, so no commute is needed.
Accomodation and food
Stay in 4-bed rooms in the main building of the campsite, a few metres from the beach.
Fully catered Monday–Friday (vegan, halal, kosher not possible).
Self-catering on weekends and public holidays; money for groceries will be provided.
Please mention any intolerances during registration.
Location and leisure
The campsite is located directly next to the Baltic Sea beach. Although April is too cold for swimming, bicycles are available for rides along the coast.
Available free-time facilities include: Football pitches, beach volleyball, beach football, beach handball courts, street basketball court, large bouncy castle, zip-line, table tennis, giant outdoor chess, team room and campfire area, weekend trips to Hamburg (100 km) or Lübeck (50 km) are recommended.

Meeting point & time: Accommodation site - Sunday 12 April, 3:00–8:00 p.m.
From Hamburg Airport → S-Bahn S1 to Hamburg Hbf (24 min, runs every 10 min).
From Hamburg Hbf → Train RE8 to Lübeck Hbf (46 min, runs at 11:06, 13:06, 15:06, 17:06).
From Lübeck Hbf → Train RB85 to Neustadt (Holst) (38 min).
From Neustadt Bahnhof/ZOB → Bus 550 towards “Grube (Holst) Friedhof”.
Get off at Grömitz Lensterstrand Zwergenweg (32 min).
Walk 350 m straight to the accommodation on the left.
