Volunteers will support the 3rd edition of the Paesello Pride Week (3i8 August, San Giovanni Gemini and Cammarata), a week-long series of events promoting LGBTQIA rights and visibility, culminating in the Paesello Pride. Before and during the festival, volunteers will help prepare and organise event spaces, assisting with cleaning, arranging areas for workshops, talks, parades and gatherings, and supporting the general logistics of the festival.During the events, volunteers may help welcome participants, support the management of workshops and meetings, assist with parades and community activities, and contribute to the promotion and documentation of the festival, including social media content.Through their involvement, volunteers will actively contribute to a unique rural LGBTQIA festival, supporting community engagement, visibility, and local initiatives that foster inclusion, diversity, and social change.
Accomodation and food
Volunteers will live in a basic apartment, with all the essential facilities for daily life but very simple in style. They will sleep in shared rooms with 3i4 beds, divided by gender. The volunteers, divided into groups and working in shifts, will take care of the management and cleaning of the house and will prepare meals in a common kitchen.
Location and leisure
Cammarata is a small village in the province of Agrigento. The village is located in a rural mountainous context at 423 m above sea level. Like most remote Sicilian villages, it is served by a limited number of public transport services, so the organization of free time could be limited to visiting nearby places or organizing excursions out of town. Volunteers may be accommodated in a village near the location where the activities take place and will travel daily using transportation provided by the hosting organization.

The aim of the association is to encourage locals to be active in order to bring about the changes they want to see. The association represents a breakthrough for the locals and the territory where it is located, through their commitment and support.
