The project's goal is to create a bio-pool that enhances biodiversity and the usability of a site that serves as a community center, a place of agricultural and cultural production, where best practices based on the principles of permaculture, biophilia, and ecosophy can be experimented.
Open for volunteers with children.

Work description
During the camp, volunteers will work on building a bio-pond. This includes a shared design phase and a more extensive manual labor phase: transporting stones and creating a soil reinforcement, creating a filter area, waterproofing, and planting aquatic and marsh plants for phytoremediation. Work hours will be 4-5 hours per day.
Study theme
Italian language and culture course with an experienced professional teacher and activities using non-formal techniques. Lessons include a theoretical component for learning the basics of the Italian language and culture, and a practical component focusing on the culinary aspects of Italian cuisine. A paper and regenerative agriculture workshop is also available, as is the care and micro-maintenance of the Mimi and Peppino educational garden.

Accommodation and food
Hosting events in a rural village like Buccino presents challenges, especially with limited infrastructure for large groups. But through determination, we’ve created a unique setup. Participants will stay across several locations in Buccino's historical center: a three-story house with multiple rooms, bathrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen, and garden, with additional lodging nearby. We’ll also use the Mòvesi office for work or relaxation and our Cinema-Italia for indoor sessions. Outdoor activities will take place in the Buccino Castle open space or in the “Mimí & Peppino” educational permaculture garden, where you can also camp in a tepee or under the stars. This setup showcases and revitalizes our historical center, countering depopulation. Although it might feel scattered, we believe that this immersive experience is worth the trade-off of full comfort.
Accommodation: Casa Movesi, located in the historic center of Buccino, will be the central hub for welcoming our guests. The house consists of: two spacious living rooms, one with a fireplace, designated for social moments; a small outdoor garden for relaxation; two bathrooms; a large kitchen; and four bedrooms set up as dormitories.
Practical notes:
Rooms are assigned randomly, but we’re flexible for specific needs.
Free internet is available, though limited in certain rooms due to thick stone walls.
Tap water is drinkable.
Shops and supermarkets are within walking distance.
Respect quiet hours as some residents still live in the area.
Please make sure to bring the following items: Towel, Slippers, Your laptop (optional), since we will be working on methods and inputs that are accessible via internet; Headphones (we might need them for some sessions), Toiletries, Earplugs (if you are sensitive to snoring), European Insurance card and passport, Food items from home to share with others during coffee breaks, Soap and shampoo, Water bottle, Warm clothes and/or jumper, Sunscreen protection, Gardening clothes, Working shoes. Also, in case you have it, bring: Any tool / publication / methodology connected with the topic of the project; a camera, Games to play in the evening, Good vibes and musical instruments (most probably we are going to have jams!)
