The aim of the project is to contribute to the management and restoration of nature reserves in collaboration with Natagora’s professional staff and local volunteers.
Work:
The main tasks will include manually clearing small calcareous grasslands in the Devant-Bouvignes Nature Reserve (Dinant), manually removing brambles and woody regrowth following major restoration work in the Coteaux de Wespin Nature Reserve (also located in Dinant) as part of the LIFE Connexions project, and helping transform an abandoned building into a bat shelter in the Devant-Bouvignes Nature Reserve.
Accomodation and food
Volunteers will stay at the Notre-Dame de Leffe Abbey in Dinant. Meals will be provided by the abbey.
