Spring STV 02: Bahtera Kasih Happy Children Project

Work:

The project will focus on two issues. Firstly, character building, & self development. The activities will be held mostly indoor with children and local volunteers. The second is intercultural education in the orphanage. The activities will be held mostly by conducting traditional game with the children, cooking traditional food, and handicraft class. The volunteer might also experience a school visit activity, please prepare a presentation about your culture for the junior/senior highschool students.

Accommodation and food

Food is provided by the Bahtera Kasih Kitchen. The boys room is located on the 1st floor and the girls room on the 2nd floor. Shared bathroom.

Free time possibilities

Located in Semarang Sub-urban, surrounded by teak forest.

Directions to meeting point
A VIN staff member will pick up volunteers from the airport. Please send your flight details in advance so we can provide a name card with the VIN logo. If you d like to explore earlier, you can take a pre-paid taxi or VIN can assist you. You can arrive at the VIN office on your first day.
