The tasks of the camp will be mainly tasks related to bioconstruction, construction and forest clearing, we will work on creating a natural pool (hopefully swimming in it as it will be very hot!)
Other tasks such as wall painting, woodwork, setting and creating a more welcoming space for future volunteers will also be done during the camp.
DIY skills will be welcomed. The working tasks will always be easy and safe, always accompanied by a professional that will guide the volunteers.
Accommodation and food
The accommodation will be in big tents (3-4 people each) in a camping area in the village of Àger. It is important that you bring your own sleeping bag.
For cooking there is a wooden stove and many kitchen utensils.
There is a dry toilet, a couple of solar showers and a small solar panel installed.
Location and leisure
Àger, Lleida
There is a lake nearby, also visiting the Catalan villages, participating in the local city festivities 'Festa Major' that will be happening during the volunteer camp.
Also depending on the group motivations also hikes are a possibility and organizing culture nights or open cinemas.

Creative and open mindset, the conditions are the ones related to a project in the middle of nature, off-grid :) So we welcome adventurous people!

SCI Catalunya is the Catalan branch of SCI, one of the 2 SCI branches in Spain. We are based in Barcelona and our working area covers the Catalan countries (including Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands and Andorra). The other provinces of Spain are covered by SCI Madrid. SCI was founded in 1982 and he organization works on both a global and local level. On the global level, we organize international workcamps in the above mentioned territory Long Term Voluntary Projects (including EVS), trainings and seminars. .
